The Loyal Hope of the Valley Lodge was constructed in 1923 for the Queensland branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows Friendly Society. The Valley lodge was used a meeting place for the Oddfellows and later hired for events of all kinds. The hall has now been lovingly restored to its former glory and is once again available to use by the wider community.
