Food & Beverage

As a licensed venue all drinks must be purchased through Loyal Hope.  This will be via a pre-paid package or on consumption bar (we have some amazing selections at fantastic prices).  We have some fantastic beverage options including beers on tap, wine and signature cocktails.
Food is sourced through external suppliers. This ranges from grazing tables to food trucks to full-service caterers. We can recommend the best suppliers in the industry, or you can source your own (with permission from Loyal Hope). Just ask us.

Pricing

For all venue enquiries please fill out our Enquiry Form with potential dates, timings and expected guest numbers. We normally reply within a few hours.
As we’re managing a large number of enquiries unfortunately we can’t quote over the phone.

Parking

Please note there is no onsite parking for guests.
The nearest paid parking station is only 50m from the venue (Secure Parking Mclachlan and Ann St-  entrance via Connor Street). 
The Calile offers parking with a $10 flat rate for entry after 4pm.
Cornerstone Parking offer $5 weekend parking right next door in St Patricks Church. This must be booked online prior via the Kerb app. Please note this car park is locked between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
Otherwise Fortitude Valley is a hub for public transport of all kinds.
Supplier parking must be organised in advance and is located underneath the hall with access from Connor Street.

Venue Inspections

Can We Play Music?

Yes, we have equipment onsite so you can play your favourite tunes. There is also a sound limit and we have neighbours in close proximity, so the volume is more than enough to have a great party, but not enough to wake the dead.

What AV Equipment is Included?

We have a high quality projector, sound system and microphones onsite for you to use. We will set this and ensure it is working for your event. The projector has a HDMI connection and the client will need to supply a laptop in order to utilise it.
Anything else (if required) will have to be hired in. We can recommend trusted suppliers if necessary.

Can We Decorate Ourselves?

You can customise Loyal Hope however you would like, providing that any existing decor is not damaged in the process. No nails, screws or glue may be used. Any onsite furniture that is removed has to be replaced at the end of the event or the next morning by arrangement.

Timings?

As we have neighbours in close proximity all events must conclude by 11pm. The standard running times for a wedding are 5.5 hours for the reception with another hour beforehand for an onsite ceremony. A cocktail party for an engagement or birthday has a standard run time of 4.5 hours with access one hour prior for set-up. Need more time? Just ask us.

How Does Setting Up and Packing Down Work?

Access time is normally arranged depending on the amount of set-up required and whether we have an event the previous night. Upon arrival the venue will be set with our onsite furniture and accessories. You can re-arrange if desired, or add your own touches.

Hotels Nearby?

The Calile is only two minutes walk from the venue, otherwise the Sage, Tryp, Alex Perry, Alpha or Rydges Hotels are all close by. Otherwise we’re only 5 minutes from the city via taxi.

I’m Ready to Book, What’s Next?

You may make a tentative booking at any time, however the date is only secure with the payment of our $500 non-refundable deposit fee. Fill out our Enquiry Form and we will follow up ASAP.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation or change of date all payments made will be forfeited, so please make sure you’re ready to go when you lay your money down.
